I wanted to plan and design a shoot that was out of the box, something different from the rest of the stunning shoots out there, so I designed a modern shoot using the colours emerald green and mustard. It does get a little old the same nowadays, so I wanted to add some flair to my design and show people that you do not need to follow traditions, you can do what you want and along with some amazing suppliers we created my vision.
First of all I wanted to show brides and grooms that you can have more than one outfit for your big day and in this case i went for 3 changes for the bride and 2 for the groom – why can’t the groom have a change of attire too.
The first dress which was perfectly designed for the ceremony, giving it a romantic and elegant feel, we then changed into something a little bit raunchy (for me this represented the bride and grooms’ alone time) and then the third outfit, she wore a stunning 2 piece trouser suit whilst the groom jumped into another suit that complimented the bride’s trouser suit – their party attire.
Secondly the ceremony was set up with chairs at the back and some comfortable sofas for the VIP guests at the front, these were then moved to the evening reception, so you can sit in comfort and watch the bride and groom take their first fun first dance.
For the table settings, we used bespoke lamp vase centrepieces that would light up at night time and copper cutlery that sat on emerald green glass plates and then we added some fun favours to the tables. In the evening we added a bubble bar and a gin bar – we all love bubbles and gin

With micro weddings coming the trend for the future, i wanted to create a really pretty intimate style. I wanted to create a vision for couples who think big and to show that having a small micro wedding with self distancing does not mean that you all need to be separate and empty.
I wanted the table to be full of flowers and decor which again is another upcoming trend for 2021 ‘Grand-Millennium’. I wanted to empathize with texture and pattern but still keeping it modern and chic.
Micro weddings and social distancing are a huge part of the wedding industry and I wanted to create elements that are possible to do when planning your wedding. For example each family has their own table - i.e the Russell's on one table, the Crook's on another and only having your dearest there, if there is only 2 in the family then they would be on their own table. Each table would have their own platters and individual wedding cakes would be served on a plate ready to be eaten.

When I set out to do this shoot, I wanted to keep it simple to just the suppliers mentioned ,as I’d always dreamt about doing a bridal shoot amongst these gorgeous trees, I take my girls there all the time its beautiful and inspiring ,so wanted to use this location for photos.

With a mantra of MARRY|EAT|SLEEP|RETREAT we were so excited to be some of the first people invited to work with the venue on a photo shoot. Hawkstone Hall & Gardens Estate is nestled within the hills of the rolling Shropshire countryside and is a grade 1 listed building. With ceilings gilded in gold, sweeping staircases, four poster luxury suites with roll-top tubs and 88 across of pristine garden the word luxury doesn’t begin to cover it.
Caroline White, one of our favourite photographers, was so keen to shoot it and she contacted ourselves and Ian Lloyd (floristry) to see how soon we could pull a team together. The look had to be high end and as luxe as possible to be in keeping with the style of wedding to be held at the venue. We wanted to use as many rooms as possible, but there are so many we had to choose from.
The saloon with its golden ceiling is so dramatic we didn’t need any extras, just a gorgeous couple in the most dramatic of gowns and attire. Phillip Alexander supplied all the grooms wear and that red jacket was just awesome!
We moved into the chapel where Ian dressed it magically twice, changing over all the arrangements to show case the two different looks. The ballroom can accommodate up to 150 guests and it equally as stunning. Ian arranged for the all the centrepieces, glassware and crockery to showcase what a wedding breakfast would look like. With its large double doors any couple can make a magnificent entry once all their guests are seated.
Our model wore Kaia by Sophia tolli - A dazzling showstopper rich with detail and sparkle, Kaia is a Premiere Style ball gown featuring misty tulle over sequin tulle, a strapless deep plunging sweetheart neckline and an on-trend semi-sheer bodice. A mixture of tender lace appliques are artfully placed with three-dimensional organza flowers and sparkling beaded detail. A back zipper with diamante buttons and a chapel train complete the unique look.
Our second bride wore a fitted gown from Allure bridals. Created from Mikado satin it’s rich lustre creates a glowing affect against the brides skin tone, with an optional detachable train for extra drama. The back is covered with twinkling crystals and buttons the length of the train. The low plunge neckline finishes this sexy, classic design. Steph Swain created a dramatic look for Olivia our brunette model, perfect as we were looking for something quite regal from for her. @stephanieswainbridal Keeley was our blonde model and was also our hair expert @kbridal_hair

Drooling of those oh so perfect insta images of brides able to wed in the most stunning locations, with the most perfect backdrop? Modern elopements are more relevant than ever right now. Taking inspiration from the most dreamy locations such as Australia for the ultimate sunset shoot. Giving life and inspiration to our couples who aren’t able to marry abroad. You can still have your dream right here, you just need some clever people on your day and a clear vision.
Inspired by Australian and mid Western weddings, we set about a mood board and finding those important people to work with. Finding the right photographer was the most important element. Someone who gets the vibe you are looking to achieve and Emmy from @vanitas_life came highly reccomended.Emmy exlains that the dresses are so intricate with layers of soft fabric and exquisite detailing, I was conscious to highlight these elements and to have fun with the textures and fabrics. The dresses are a mix between sexy and fun allowing us to create those perfect posed portraits, as well as the candid images of the bride giggling with her bridesmaids and dancing in the sun.The dresses used in the shoot are Marlow from Wilderly bride, also Samantha from the same collection and a new gown from @allurebridals
Pryors Hayes is set in the heart of the Cheshire Countryside and boasts a unique style of rustic and countryside charm set within 120 acres of tree lined fairways, lakes and gardens. It was an obvious choice and the team there are extra helpful and accommodating.
Daniella Ingle was our chosen MUA @daniellamakeuphair. After posting my mood boards on social media, Daniella instantly reached and out and could see exactly what we were try to achieve with the shoot. Kate from @perfect_bouquet_full_of_flowers and I have worked together before, she is the queen of dried flowers so she was a natural fit for the project.Kate used some super unusual flowers and leaves to create her stunning displays. These included bleached ruscus, gyposophila, grass and fern, fried palm leaves, stelitzia leaves, bleached amaranths and lunar.Of course there was also alot of Pampas grass and 70’s style glass vases. The bouquets were trimmed with ribbons from @silkandpurlOur gorgeous model Amber was recommended to us and she was an absolute joy to work with. @amberl.jones she was so professional and you wouldn’t know that while it looks sunny and warm it was actually freezing and she didn’t complain once. Superstar! The shoot was planned within a week and completed within 2 quite an achievement. We hope you enjoy the content and if we can offer any more advice or help just let know

The English Garden styled shoot took place at the beautiful Parish’s House, Timsbury near Bath and was the idea of Joanna Scott from Joanna Brooks Photography.
The aim was to create a romantic shoot capturing the essence of an English garden. The venue is a stunning Regency property set in 22 acres of tended gardens and parkland and was the ideal setting.
Love Story Bride provided two dresses from their collection for the day - Amelia, which has delicate layers of tulle with leaf lace embroidery and Grace, which has a relaxed V neck and low v back. The models, Chloe and Hannah were accessorised and styled by Perfect Day Bride.
All of the flowers and foliage's used were sourced from an English grower and included fragrant sweet peas, garden roses, honeysuckle, anemones and a selection of grasses and foliage's. Each model carried a different bouquet, one in shades of white, ivory and cream and the other in soft apricots, yellows and red. Each bouquet was handtied and finished with flowing, silk ribbons from Bertie and Fred. The woodland area was dressed as the ceremony area and filled with assorted bottles and vases of flowers.

Here’s a wedding theme showing you can bring in modern influences to a timeless wedding venue. Urban style weddings you will usually find in an industrial warehouse, but we’ve brought that concept to Two Woods Estate, a venue located in West Sussex featuring a redwoods woodland ceremony area, the only of its kind in Europe! Captured by the talented Alessandro Piolanti he wanted to ensure the love between our real couple was portrayed in the editorial.
Featuring shades of burgundy reds and pink tones, Illy Elizabeth Weddings brought together this romantic feel crossed with urban vibe. She wanted the colours to compliment each other whilst giving something a little bit different. Using velvet linens by Magpie Linens, and big table florals by Tony Dunn Flowers, she created the perfect tablescape fit for a woodland.
The wedding dress featured shows an exquisite applique detail along with a flattering train that flowed on the woodland ground. We paired this with delicate detailed bridal heels in a blush pink and silver metal. The bride also featured a gold vine-style hairpiece which delicately sat at the back of her relaxed bridal hairstyle.
We wanted to make a statement with the groomswear, so we incorporated a burgundy suit by Asos. Pairing this with black suede shoes and a black bow tie, it was a modern yet timeless look for our groom.
Offering a colourful pink-inspired graze to compliment the outdoor woodland, we had to ensure the cake designer compliment the table design. Cakes and Leaves created an environmentally friendly cake design, to compliment the idea of the venue being eco-friendly. All of her designs are made using plant-based powders to achieve natural wedding cake. Completely free of anything artificial, it’s a vegan couples dream.
